Stress Test Demo with Jmeter

Overview

Stress testing tests the system’s behavior under intense loads, as well as examining how it recovers when going back to normal usage. Stress testing can be easily done with open-source testing tools like JMeter. https://github.com/apache/jmeter

Case 1

In this case, i want to stress test page https://www.internasia.com/ with 600 users.
I configured 600 threads to run for 1 minutes (60 seconds).

– Expected standard:

Max Response Time: smaller than 3000ms.

Demo 1

Result:

Max Response Time: 2050ms.

Case 2

Increase the thread number to 1200 users.

Result

Average Success Response Time: 28843ms. (Not include fail request)

Conclusion

1200 user in 60 seconds is limit of page https://www.internasia.com/ can response request.
